There are many different types of yarn for knitwear. However, angora yarn knitwear and sweaters are some of the finest in the world. Angora yarn is not as widely known as other forms of wool such as sheep's wool but is a beautiful and elegant wool from a specific breed of rabbit. There are different strands to the breed, but the main rabbit is said to come from a town in Turkey.

The color, feel, and softness of yarns that are made of wool is what makes angora yarn knitwear and sweaters elegent and in high demand by royalty everywhere. The wool is much warmer than regular sheep's wool, while also being finer and more resistant to stains.
