Wrinkles Cream and the Best Anti Aging Ingredients

by Judy Aulin

As we age our bodies' collagen and elastin production decreases, which basically means that as we get older, we wrinkle and suffer from sagging and fragile skin.

Heredity has been pegged as playing an important role in the formation of wrinkles, however, environmental factors and bad habits may be adding to genetic predisposition. Fortunately, this means that you can actually do something to prevent face wrinkles. You may not like the changes in your daily habit, but it is worth it to have younger looking skin.

External Habits that Accelerate Aging

Two of the worst culprits when it comes to accelerating the aging process are smoking and sunbathing. Both of these activities produce free radicals which can eventually destroy healthy tissue.

Smoking not only leads to skin wrinkles all over your body, but it also accentuates eye wrinkles due to the toxins present in cigarette smoke. What's even worse is that the facial expressions that smokers make are also known to contribute to the formation of crow's feet.

Sunbathing, although a very pleasant summertime habit, is also responsible for the formation of skin wrinkles as well as for age spots and dry, leathery skin. To minimize the possible effects of the sun, use a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Nevertheless, if for some reason you need to stay in the sun for prolonged periods of time, remember to wear protective gear such as wide brimmed hats and long sleeved tops.

Another way of accelerating the aging process is by consuming large amounts of alcohol. Consuming alcohol can dry out the tissues in your body and skin because it is considered a dehydrating agent. So it is wise that you moderate your alcohol intake and increase your consumption of pure water.

Your Wrinkle Cream

The right (anti aging or) wrinkles cream will help keep your skin protected against natural aging and accelerating factors. If you have dry skin, you may want to start using an anti aging cream in your late 20s.

When in search of products for your skin, makes sure that you look for products that contain one or more of the following ingredients: coenzyme Q-10, hyaluronic acid, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), and/or copper peptides.

Coenzyme Q-10 is known to help promote skin growth and smooth the skin due to its firming properties. Hyaluronic acid is another ingredient that has been clinically proven to diminish fine lines and wrinkles. As a matter of fact, it has the ability to hold up to 1000 times its weight in water.

Alpha-hydroxy acids, on the other hand, help promote exfoliation, increase skin thickness, stimulate skin repair, and increase collagen production. Glycolic acid, tartaric acid, lactic acid, malic acid and citric acid are all AHAs. Copper peptides are another key ingredient that can help boost the healing process and increase the production of collagen.

If you want your skin to look radiant for years to come then it is important that you have an anti aging skin care routine. Natural skin care products, like BIOSKINREJUVENATION, are an effective yet gentle way of preventing and treating aging problems. It can be used as a wrinkle treatment for fine lines as well as helping treat pigmentation problems.
