No Easy Answer For The Best Anti-wrinkle Cream

by Jen Hopkins

What is the best anti-wrinkle cream? It is a question that will get you many different answers, depending on who you ask. Young women, middle-aged women, older women and skin care and cosmetic companies will probably each have their best recommendation.

As looking younger longer becomes more popular with surgeries and shots, wrinkle creams have grown in popularity, especially in middle to lower classes. Those who cannot afford or do not want surgery or shots choose to use wrinkle reducing creams to wipe years off of their faces.

Every website will list a different best anti-wrinkle cream. Brand-related websites will post tests and data to prove that they are the best. Most likely they are using data from a beauty panel made up of women who tested the products and then ranked them according to results, price, and usability.

There are also websites whose sole purpose is to review the best wrinkle cream and anti-wrinkle cream available to the average woman. There you can find actual customer testimonies, where the products can be found, the price, and the overall ranking as determined by the reviews.

Some remedies are surprising. When asking what is the best anti-wrinkle cream have you ever been told to use hemorrhoid cream? Most women have heard it, but most men would assume it is meant for the other end and would find the idea ridiculous.

Fact is there are no real facts on the subject of hemorrhoid creams. I found various reports and reviews on the use of it and the opinions vary greatly. It may indeed help to reduce inflammation or puffiness and therefore temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles, but it doesn't seem to permanently help repair wrinkles or prevent future wrinkles from developing.

Despite the lack of a best cream, several ingredients have been proven to have the desire results. Because these ingredients are used in cosmetics, they are not regulated by the FDA. Tea extracts, hydroxy acids, Coenzyme Q10, retinol, and copper peptides have been proven to work. Most brands, whether costing hundreds or just a few dollars, contain the same ingredients. Research can show you a good price range and product for your budget.

So, is there a clear answer for awhat is the best anti-wrinkle cream?a No. Consider your age, your lifestyle (sunbathing is not the answer), your skin-type and skin care habits before you put your confidence in a cream. They may help slow the process, but they are not a miracle in a bottle. Eat right, exercise, and cleanse your skin daily -- these will help you a lot in the end.
