Some wake up often at night, or do not feel rested after several hours of sleep.

While this sleep disturbance can be worrisome and irritating, severe insomnia may become quite dangerous. Individuals who have been awake for 24 hours have identical problems with reflexes and motor control as people have drunk more than the legal limit before driving. Indeed, going without sleep for a whole night can be as hazardous as driving while legally drunk!

Sleeplessness is related to several elements, including medication, stress, and bad sleep habits. Medications like prednisone or hormone therapy may be causes of insomnia. Ask the doctor who prescribed the medication about whether another medication can be substituted.

Most of the time, these people report that both NLP and Ericksonian Hypnosis are much more helpful in treating their sleep disturbances.

Ericksonian hypnotherapy is very helpful in bypassing the typical conflict with post-hypnotic suggestion by couching these suggestions within discussions, stories, and metaphors. It is challenging to resist suggestions when you aren't consciously aware of them.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming does not require a person to be open to suggestion. It is a therapy that allows one to concentrate on using those identical thought patterns and thought methods that were used to create a problem, to eliminate it.
